The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Årjäng this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Devine Flower sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Sleepy Starshine started to galop and lost 50 m. When the startcar left the field Starstruck Ring started to galop and lost 40 m.




Lady Blue saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Starstruck Ring sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Starstruck Ring was still in the lead after 1500m.




Sleepy Starshine put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Starstruck Ring speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Sleepy Starshine sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
