One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Doctor Whooves. Blaffende Hond ended up behind the leader. Soldato got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Soldato sprinted to the front. The leader got disturbed by something and Cunning Movement took the lead rather easily. Blaffende Hond looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Cunning Movement showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Blaffende Hond gallopped for 10 m. Blaffende Hond sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Jorma Kontio tried a little too much on the homestretch and Soldato started to galopp and lost 10 m. Doctor Whooves made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Blaffende Hond. Results
