The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hard Gambler was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Sommerfuglen saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Hattmannen sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Sommerfuglen saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. driver couldn't keep La Soeur to trotting so they were disqualified.



Sommerfuglen kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Sommerfuglen. Hattmannen came in second. Heavy Metal Machine became third.
