The sun was shining on Kajaani today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sliding Thrasher tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Slow Action that came steaming ahead.

This is the positions after 500m. Edmond Globetrotter, Vont, Jumping Rock, Steel Devil, Slow Action, Mr Taboca, Fliegend Umsonst, Roll The Trac. Sliding Thrasher showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Vont sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Vont followed by Fliegend Umsonst and Edmond Globetrotter. Lane two Slow Action followed by Jumping Rock and Mr Taboca.

Vont were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Slow Action never caught up with Vont who won. Jumping Rock came third.
