It had been raining for several days at Färjestad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Charity Project tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Perfect Viper that came steaming ahead. Climbing Momentum quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Grande Penne sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Mozambique accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Impatient Mistress started to gallop after 1500m and Åke Lindblom had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Mozambique looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Mozambique didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race. Results
