One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pompeji took the lead after a very quick start.




Netherworld was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Turning Top who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Pompeji clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Golden Moment galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Pompeji followed by Rolling Pearl and Punching Judge. Lane two Dolly Hof followed by Netherworld and Durchbruchswagen.




Pompeji kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Rolling Pearl gallopped 40 m after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Netherworld galoped for 40 m. Pompeji sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Per Ludvig Nilsen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Dolly Hof started to galopp and lost 20 m.




No-one could catch Pompeji today who won before Punching Judge and Rolling Pearl.
