One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Confident Universe could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and True Obsession sprinted to the front.




True Obsession was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Just Like Me was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one True Obsession followed by Confident Universe and Jumping Momentum. Lane two Hotzenwald followed by I Need Googles and Loving Factory. Jekyll And Hyde showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




True Obsession didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Jekyll And Hyde was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.



With only a little left of the race Loving Factory galoped for 20 m. With only a little left of the race Just Like Me galoped for 40 m. True Obsession were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Final standings. 1 Confident Universe, 2 Hotzenwald, 3 True Obsession.
