The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape. The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day. Electric Summer could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Criminal Hyena quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Electric Summer looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Travelling Stardust couldn't come out from behind the leader, Criminal Hyena. Monday Lemonade galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m. Electric Summer accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Electric Summer kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Electric Summer galop. Electric Summer lost 50 m. Final standings. 1 Travelling Stardust, 2 Monday Lemonade, 3 Criminal Hyena.
