The weather had been good all week and Årjäng was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Gendarmerie found a gap and took the lead. Arrested Again followed before Pinstripe´s Walk The Line. When the startcar left the field Wild Flower started to galop and lost 30 m. Don't Feed Please suddenly started to galop. Björn Goop had to struggle to get Don't Feed Please to tror again and succeded after 20 m. Per-Arne Abelin wanted a little to much in the start and Arrested Again galoped for 10 m. When the startcar left the field Giant Superman started to galop and lost 40 m.

Ramos Pegasos saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Gorgeous Pixie looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Arrested Again couldn't come out from behind the leader, Ramos Pegasos.

Gorgeous Pixie was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Don't Feed Please galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Arrested Again made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Turbo Pascal.
