One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Terminal Worker could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Active Valley sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Maid In France who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Active Valley clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Active Valley followed by Bonjour Lundi and Flying Detroit. Lane two Fluoro Vox followed by Maid In France and Terminal Worker.




Active Valley sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Active Valley were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Flying Detroit galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




Active Valley didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
