One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Light Trail found a gap and took the lead. Waving Box followed before Bluebird. Bluebird galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Light Trail was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Light Trail today. It continued in the lead.



Light Trail sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Waving Box made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Light Trail.
