The weather had been good all week and Arvika was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Astro Man found a gap and took the lead. Gaillarde followed before Black Sword.




Flickering Gold saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Gaillarde sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Gaillarde today. It continued in the lead.



Gaillarde sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Black Sword won. Astro Man came in second. Gaillarde caught third place.
