One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Zegepraal Tenslotte was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Vulpix took the lead after 1000m. Zegepraal Tenslotte didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Vulpix followed by Zegepraal Tenslotte and . Lane two Wimpy Forest followed by and . Zegepraal Tenslotte showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



Vulpix sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Wimpy Forest never caught up with Vulpix who won. Zegepraal Tenslotte came third.
