One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Steel Devil was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Steel Devil started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Quick Bandwagon looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Minou couldn't come out from behind the leader, Steel Devil.

False Cut was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.

Minou sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
