The weather had been good all week and Halmstad was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Eddie Opal sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Buzz Opal quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Eddie Opal who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Sad Necklace sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. driver couldn't keep Idis On Fire to trotting so they were disqualified.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Sad Necklace today. It continued in the lead.




Muscle Rebel suddenly took over the lead.



Muscle Rebel kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Quasimodo On Fire made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Eddie Opal.
