One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Elwë Thingol could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Shy Energy saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Racegirl took the lead after 1000m. Yihaa Oklahoma didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Racegirl today. It continued in the lead.



Polished Work was first on the homestretch followed by Elwë Thingol and Slippery Stereo.






Slippery Stereo sprinted over the finishline before Elwë Thingol and Lilaah Nova.
