One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Just Pirate found a gap and took the lead. Holy Witch followed before Zegdou. Geir Vegard Gundersen wanted a little to much in the start and Pink Sunray galoped for 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Dead Man Walking, The Safety Dance, Zegdou, Holy Witch, Snow Hater, Pink Sunray, Just Pirate, Nesrine.




Dead Man Walking clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Holy Witch accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Zegdou started to gallop after 1500m and Lars-Åke Svärdfeldt had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Holy Witch didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Just Pirate speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Holy Witch made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Just Pirate.
