One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Shooting Energy sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Shooting Energy was in fine shape and held the lead. Voor Wijk Mij was disturbed and galoped 40 m. A bird flew just in front of Glorious Tropic who started to galop and lost 20 m. The leader got disturbed by something and Narkissos Tilly took the lead rather easily. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Narkissos Tilly today. It continued in the lead. Shooting Energy speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch. Falling Vixen won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
