One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Light Lattus Cherry could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Sly Lion started to galop and lost 40 m. Björn Karlsson wanted a little to much in the start and Light Lattus Cherry galoped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Dolly Hof, Seductive Space, Thinking Admiral, Lowreys Law, Sly Lion, Coffman, California Crown, Light Lattus Cherry.

Seductive Space looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sly Lion couldn't come out from behind the leader, Dolly Hof.

California Crown sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
