One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Eddie Opal was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sans Opinion sprinted to the front.




The leader got disturbed by something and Seductive Beard took the lead rather easily.




American Fighter looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Sneaky Asteroid gallopped for 20 m.




American Fighter was still in the lead after 2000m.



American Fighter looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Criminal Balders Balle won. Eddie Opal came in second. Melbourne Night Prowler caught third place.
