One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Giggling Starshine could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Powerful Steel took the lead after 1000m. Giggling Starshine didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. driver couldn't keep Screaming Mustache to trotting so they were disqualified.




Giggling Starshine accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Powerful Steel speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Powerful Steel made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Giggling Starshine.
