The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.



The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.





Rugged Devil was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rugged Devil followed by Sowing Necklace and Prima Wave. Lane two Étonnement Jeune followed by Brave Sparrow and Fat Lucky´s Prince.




Étonnement Jeune kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Rugged Devil were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Prima Wave galop. Prima Wave lost 40 m.




No-one could catch Étonnement Jeune today who won before Rugged Devil and Brave Sparrow.
