One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pinstripe´s Just Jambo could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Tony Thompson sprinted to the front.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Belladonna Opal suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Tony Thompson was still in the lead after 1500m.




Tony Thompson kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Tony Thompson kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Snowy Piece won. Tony Thompson came in second. Pinstripe´s Just Jambo caught third place.
