One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

After Burner sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Old Puma was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Brave Wonder sprinted to the front. Monster Jr started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

After Burner looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Never Fade Away couldn't come out from behind the leader, Brave Wonder.

Climbing Speed looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Never Fade Away couldn't come out from behind the leader, Brave Wonder.

No-one could catch Brave Wonder today who won before Climbing Speed and Netherworld.
