One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Slimy Strategy sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. General Du Pommeau suddenly started to galop. Dagfinn Aarum had to struggle to get General Du Pommeau to tror again and succeded after 30 m. Brian Hall Justice showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Cystadleuydd who started to galop and lost 50 m.

Rutger Jönåker C.C. sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rutger Jönåker C.C. followed by Running Striker and Dogon. Lane two Slimy Strategy followed by Stretching Sunset and Lost For Words. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Slimy Strategy gallopped for 10 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Honourable Force gallopped for 10 m.

Rutger Jönåker C.C. kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Cystadleuydd galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Final standings. 1 Stretching Sunset, 2 Running Striker, 3 Rutger Jönåker C.C..
