The sun was shining on Halmstad and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Giggling Galaxy took the lead after a very quick start.




Farmer Johns Opal quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Farmer Johns Opal followed by Giggling Galaxy and Dropsy. Lane two Ginger Lemon followed by Nothing To Fear and Wolly Doll.



Ginger Lemon litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Ginger Lemon. Nothing To Fear came in second. Carlos Lagavulin became third.
