The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Arvika this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wondering Summer found a gap and took the lead. Elegant Sky followed before Whatever Ruby.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Whatever Ruby took the lead after 1000m. Elegant Sky didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Whatever Ruby today. It continued in the lead.




Elegant Sky put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Elegant Sky sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Elegant Sky kept the speed the whole finish and won before Whatever Ruby and Wondering Summer.
