One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Star Champion tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Crossing Knockout that came steaming ahead. Gladys Opal was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Star Champion, Falling Bouquet, Nettunio Vox, Inner Struggle, Crossing Knockout, Eau Du Cologne, Gladys Opal, Stepping Cherry.




Star Champion clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Star Champion today. It continued in the lead.




Nettunio Vox took the lead.



Nettunio Vox looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Stepping Cherry galop. Stepping Cherry lost 20 m.




Crossing Knockout never caught up with Nettunio Vox who won. Inner Struggle came third.
