The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Opposing Nova. Long Way Home ended up behind the leader. Blue Paradigm got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Bellah Nova was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

Waving Needle saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

The leader got disturbed by something and Bellah Nova took the lead rather easily. Bellah Nova suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Long Way Home looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Waving Needle was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Long Way Home were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Jumping Girl galop. Jumping Girl lost 50 m.

Long Way Home didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
