One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bold Grove was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Gold Rhyme King sprinted to the front.




Tumbling Thor took the lead after 1000m. Stopping Maid didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tumbling Thor followed by Bold Grove and Wicked. Lane two Stopping Maid followed by Gold Rhyme King and Étonnement Jeune.



Tumbling Thor sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Wicked sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
