The sun was shining on Kokkola and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sad Sunflower was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Ivanhoe C.C. started to galop and lost 20 m. When the startcar left the field Stunning Raspberry started to galop and lost 50 m. Aki Antti-Roiko wanted a little to much in the start and Slimy Strategy galoped for 20 m.




Pinstripe´s Castor quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Sad Sunflower started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Cordon Sanitaire took the lead rather easily. Ivanhoe C.C. suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Cordon Sanitaire didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
