One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fierceful Pressure could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Di Bartolomeo started to galop and lost 40 m.




Texas Dolly saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Di Bartolomeo took the lead after 1000m. Fierceful Pressure didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Vzpon Navzlic galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Di Bartolomeo was still in the lead after 1500m.




Di Bartolomeo sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Di Bartolomeo kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Di Bartolomeo didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
