One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ivory Mambo found a gap and took the lead. Floating Godiva followed before Big Bear.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Tony Thompson sprinted to the front.




Tony Thompson was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Floating Godiva galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m. Hashtag galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Tony Thompson was still in the lead after 1500m.




Big Bear put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Rugged Sword was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.



Tender Band was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Big Bear sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






San Quentin made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Ivory Mambo.
