The sun was shining on Gävle today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hotzenwald found a gap and took the lead. Eddie Opal followed before Barefoot Candy.




Hotzenwald was in fine shape and held the lead. Lina Lamont was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Barefoot Candy took the lead rather easily. Narkissos Journey was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Barefoot Candy was still in the lead after 1500m. Aymara Princess galloped for 40 m.




Barefoot Candy kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Solid Hero galloped way to long and was disqualified.



With only a little left of the race Solid Hero galoped for 50 m. Hotzenwald litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Narkissos Journey galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Final standings. 1 Barefoot Candy, 2 Eddie Opal, 3 Hotzenwald.
