One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Farmer Johns Opal tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Experienced Knight that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Farmer Johns Opal looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Housecat couldn't come out from behind the leader, Experienced Knight. Penneteau was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Experienced Knight today. It continued in the lead.




Experienced Knight was still in the lead after 2000m.



I Dip Twice was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Experienced Knight kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Housecat sprinted over the finishline before Experienced Knight and Farmer Johns Opal.
