The sun was shining on Arvika and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Walking Wardrobe was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Idiot Check was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Outspoken Judge was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Idiot Check was in fine shape and held the lead.




Ghostly Sunray looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Outspoken Judge couldn't come out from behind the leader, Winning Machine.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Outspoken Judge followed by Sliding Box and Ghostly Sunray. Lane two Walking Wardrobe followed by Winning Machine and Idiot Check. Heavy Scout showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Outspoken Judge kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Walking Wardrobe gallopped 50 m after 2000m.



Outspoken Judge were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Winner of todays race was Sliding Box. Outspoken Judge came in second. Ghostly Sunray became third.
