It had been raining for several days at Bodø but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Useless Commendation found a gap and took the lead. Esmeralda Opal followed before Enchanter. Atle Solhus wanted a little to much in the start and Useless Commendation galoped for 30 m.




Useless Commendation was in fine shape and held the lead.




Esmeralda Opal took the lead after 1000m. Enchanter didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Esmeralda Opal followed by Enchanter and . Lane two Front Thinking followed by Useless Commendation and . Useless Commendation galloped for 40 m.



Esmeralda Opal sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Esmeralda Opal didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
