The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Floating Godiva. Striking Maid ended up behind the leader. Amazing Love got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Walking Cup saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Striking Maid suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Walking Cup was still in the lead after 1500m.



Walking Cup sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Tranquil Ring sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
