One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Fast Mind could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Experienced Lieutenant saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Fast Mind galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Experienced Lieutenant clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Experienced Lieutenant followed by Ghostly Vanilla and Starshine Cupcake. Lane two First Boss followed by Starstruck Breeze and Fast Mind.

Experienced Lieutenant were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Experienced Lieutenant didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
