One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Muscular Moment tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to False Cut that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Muscular Moment, False Cut, Helpful Wave, , , , , .




False Cut took the lead after 1000m. Helpful Wave didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Muscular Moment suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop False Cut today. It continued in the lead.




False Cut was still in the lead after 2000m.



Helpful Wave speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Helpful Wave today who won before Muscular Moment and False Cut.
