One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Instict De Survie found a gap and took the lead. Dead Mind followed before General Stereo. Big Thrasher showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Monday Forest saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Dead Mind sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. General Stereo was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Instict De Survie galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Dead Mind was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Monday Forest gallopped for 20 m.

Monday Forest was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Dead Mind kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Knight Of Paris never caught up with Dead Mind who won. Sweetest Thing came third.
