The weather had been good all week and Sørlandet was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Barry Nieuwenhuijs Justice found a gap and took the lead. Stretching Mistress followed before Tough Speed. When the startcar left the field Alberta Rori started to galop and lost 30 m. Frozen Thinking was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Tough Speed quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Stretching Mistress started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Barry Nieuwenhuijs Justice sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Tough Speed accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Stretching Mistress started to gallop after 1500m and Geir Vegard Gundersen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Tough Speed kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Tough Speed were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Alberta Rori sprinted over the finishline before Tough Speed and Barry Nieuwenhuijs Justice.
