One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Adventurous Action tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Adventurous Lion that came steaming ahead.




Jago saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Jago clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Welsh Dynamite accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Adventurous Action showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



Welsh Dynamite kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Adventurous Lion never caught up with Welsh Dynamite who won. Jago came third.
