The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Quick Bullet could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Hoofdini sprinted to the front. driver couldn't keep Korvryttaren to trotting so they were disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Holy Cheesus accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Holy Cheesus kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Peter Untersteiner tried a little too much on the homestretch and Heavy Night started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Pietro Gambadilegno sprinted over the finishline before Drooling Scope and Holy Cheesus.
