The sun was shining on Leangen today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sophisticated Rose took the lead after a very quick start. Churchill Hof galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Falling Ballerina saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Falling Ballerina was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Falling Ballerina followed by Sophisticated Rose and Churchill Hof. Lane two Black Wave followed by Gold Stormwind and .



With only a little left of the race Falling Ballerina galoped for 30 m. Black Wave litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Sophisticated Rose made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Black Wave.
