It had been raining for several days at Riihimäki but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Double Speeded took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Dancing Garden, Striking Maid, Blue Thinking, Double Speeded, Cheerful Boulder, Useless Cooperation, My Fair Mare, .




Double Speeded took the lead after 1000m. Dancing Garden didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Double Speeded was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Dancing Garden saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Useless Cooperation litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused My Fair Mare galop. My Fair Mare lost 10 m.




Useless Cooperation kept the speed the whole finish and won before Dancing Garden and Double Speeded.
