It had been raining for several days at Lappeenranta but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Seductive Moon found a gap and took the lead. I. C. Noobstacle followed before Courageous Dragon. Avalanche Course quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Avalanche Course clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. I. C. Noobstacle clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Courageous Dragon galop. Courageous Dragon lost 50 m. Seductive Moon sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
