The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Suonenjoki this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rational Striker could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Rational Striker suddenly started to galop. Markku Nieminen had to struggle to get Rational Striker to tror again and succeded after 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Suikku, Freaky Friday, Holy Nova, Psychedelic Rock, Cleveland Striker, Decisive Plan, Rational Striker, Rich Running Rick.




Holy Nova sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Holy Nova followed by Gold Ice Cube and Rational Striker. Lane two Rich Running Rick followed by Psychedelic Rock and Cleveland Striker.



Holy Nova looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Holy Nova kept the speed the whole finish and won before Rich Running Rick and Rational Striker.
