One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Confident Universe could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Gold Eagle was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Smiling Nutcracker sprinted to the front.




Experienced Platinum looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Confident Universe couldn't come out from behind the leader, Smiling Nutcracker.



Confident Universe was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Experienced Platinum looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Aufmerksamkeit couldn't come out from behind the leader, Smiling Nutcracker.






Smiling Nutcracker didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
