One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Moonlight Dream found a gap and took the lead. Cool Idea followed before Numbers In Order.




Cool Idea quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Moonlight Dream took the lead after 1000m. Cool Idea didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Moonlight Dream followed by Numbers In Order and . Lane two Cool Idea followed by and . Something caused a disturbance in the field and Numbers In Order gallopped for 10 m.



Moonlight Dream kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Cool Idea won the race after a spectacular finish.
